Looking forward to: Christmas!
Eating: Thanksgiving leftovers. There’s no such thing as too
much mashed potatoes.
Watching: Jessica Jones.
Reading: The Girls at the Kingfisher Club, Brooklyn, Winter’s
Bone, After the Golden Age, Jim Henson: The Biography.
Listening: To the Sussex Carol.
Burning: Honeysuckle-scented candles. I love having one
close to my desk when I’m writing.
Waiting: For snow.
Craving: A cup of tea and a window seat to sip it on.
Wishing: I had more time (and more motivation) to do the
things I want to do.
Seeing: Mockingjay Part 2 at the theater.
Finishing: “A Forest of Bones”, my short story retelling of
The Twelve Dancing Princesses. You can read it here.

Your pictures always manage to convey the perfect atmosphere for these posts! I love the warm oranges of this fall theme :) also, super excited to check our your story! It sounds awesome!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Choosing pictures is probably the most fun part of putting together these posts (and since fall & winter are probably my favorite seasons, I always try to find some extra pretty ones around this time). If you read my story, I hope you enjoy it :)
DeleteMockingjay Part 2 was the best. And the worst, all at once. The feelsssss.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed it! I did wish Annie had shown up more, though. (Admittedly, she doesn't show up much more in the book.) She's my favorite character.
DeleteMOCKINGJAY PART TWO EXCUSE ME WHILE I GO CRY ABOUT IT. *sobs*
ReplyDeleteBut... um... you're waiting for snow? o.O I already have snow where I live, and am already waiting for it to go away. xD I don't like the cold. :P
Snow's great when it's fresh! Once it turns to slush I do start hating it, but it hasn't snowed yet even once where I live.
DeleteI loved the last scene of Mockingjay. It was so sweet and sad--I think they pulled it off perfectly!
